Ramnagar ke shole.... An Adventurous trip to Ramnagar.....

Few days back, I went for adventurous trip to Ramnagar. First of let me make it clear that the trip was organized by IBM, so full enjoyment without a buck from your pocket.... So we are very enthusiastic about it.

To start with, in the morning we all gathered in front of Prestige Towers(one of the oldest office of IBM). I was the volunteer for arrangement of people boarding at Prestige Towers( P.T.).
So as all people came, we started our journey to Land of Sholay - Ramnagar. In sholay Samba was riding the horse the same way we were going to Ramnagar on some horse power bus of KSRTC.

After reaching there and getting freshed, our Adventurous things started..tea, breakfast etc.... Then, head of the club introduced himself and explained the whole plan of the day. We divided ourselves into three groups. Like the kids, we stand in queue and numbered us as 1,2,3...1,2,3...till last person gets into either of these three groups. The purpose of grouping into three was, there were three main physical adventurous activities, namely River Crossing, raffling and Chimney Climbing.

I was in first group, as always. Our group started with River Crossing. And as I thought after seeing the rope tighted between the two tall trees, this was not really river crossing, but we have to imagine that there is river. One rope tighted between two trees, around 30 meters long, slightly sloped, so that we can easily go from upper to lower side. I used slide here, because they were providing us with something, that we need to bind around our waist, and by using that we can just slide from upper to lower side. So all of us enjoyed it, except a girl...poor girl, as it was very difficult for her. But the real adventure started when I tried to come opposite of the slope, I did that with all my energy. All parts of my body started paining after that. I thought I will fail down if I stand. I think I used all my energy first time in last 6 years, before that I used it when I climbed the ghat(a road with slope) on bicycle. And after me, one of the enthusiastic girl tried it. She took around 10 minutes to cross those 30 meters. She is having real guts in her. All the events in the day she completed twice.

After that we went to do our second adventurous thing, raffling. We went to the mountain side, where Sholay was shoot. It remembered us Gabbar Singh and Viru. There was a hill, with vertical slope on one side. We have to come down using rope and use the vertical side for raffling. There I remember somebody saying, "Basanti main aa raha hun". Initially it was very frightening, but the person gave some tricks, so that you will not fall down. I followed the same and went down safely...thanks God that I didn't go up, to meet God. Then me and some of my friends including that girl with guts tried it second time. Every adventurous thing is not adventurous if we do it only once. First time our aim was to go down and second time we were there to enjoy......

After that, we went to have Lunch, which was really good... Puri, Rice, Sabzi and sweet... Not sure whether it was tasting good because of our adventurous activities. Then after some time pass there we left for the most difficult mission of the day...Chimney Climbing. Initially we didn't know that why they were calling it by that name, instead Rock climbing would be the correct name. We reached there by the way, which was going from inside of Ramnagar. The villagers living nearby to the mountains were quite poor, maybe because Gabbar Singh looted all of them. By stopping our breathing by hand(to avoid that smell) and going through some small way, which was used by the villagers in early morning, somehow we reached the Chimney Climbing point.

The person who can climb that rock, can climb on chimney with ought the stairs, thats why that was called as Chimney Climbing. Two vertical rocks with some gap between them. Small gap such that, only one person can stand in between. The rock was having height around height of two storey house. We have to start from bottom of the rocks, follow some steps and with ought any help ... slowly and slowly, go up... to reach the top of it. Here only few of us were able to do it. And only one did this climbing twice, none other than the girl with guts....

Then we started our journey to top of hill, to complete our last mission for the day, to see the sunset. Unfortunately that mission was unsuccessful, as before we reach the top of hill, sun left us for the day.

Then we came down to the bottom of hill, it was around 7:30 in the evening. No lights around, only light of few torches... We started our last mission for the day, all of us .. all three groups and the mission was Night Tracking. We have to go through small way in Jungle, from that point to the club house point, without light...all were going in queue, everybody quite, some body was making ghost sounds to make it more frightening....

After reaching to our club house, we had campfire, with some Hindi and Tamil music, we danced around fire.... Followed by that we had our dinner...And then we left Ramnagar....land of Sholay and started our return journey to Bangalore, with our minds filled with adventures....

Woh jab chalti hai to raahon main 100-100 ke note bichhaa deta hoon
Woh jab chalti hai to raahon main 100-100 ke note bichhaa deta hoon
Uske jaane ke baad woh sab note utha leta hoon..

Woh sadak ke is paar thi, hum sadak ke us paar the..
Kuch hum aage badhe, kuch who aage badhi
Hum kuch aur age badhe, who bhi kuch aur aage badhi
Ab hum sadak ke us paar the, who sadak ke is paar thi

Door se dekha to kuchh dikha nahi,
Paas jake dekha to kuchh tha hi nahi.

Something Funny.....

Know Ur Value....! Good one....

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rupee 500 note.
In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this Rupee 500 note?"Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you
but first let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the note up.
He then asked, "Who still wants it?"

Still the hands were up in the air."Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and
started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all
crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.
"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not
decrease in value. It was still worth Rupee 500/-."Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt
by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as
though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose
your value.

You are special. Don't ever forget it! Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams.

"VALUE HAS A VALUE ONLY IF ITS VALUE IS VALUED"
